Great Samsonite carry on & Samsonite carry on does slot in the overheads. No issues. I checked the dimensions prior to buy & at multiple airports I was one times not asked to check it.

I have had the Samsonite Silhouette 11 22"" spinner for months now, & can attest that Samsonite carry on does fit on DOMESTIC airline overhead bins. As a consultant who travels every week on United, I was one times nervous that the dimensions listed in the Samsonite carry on spec were slightly larger than the dimensions for United carry-ons (other airlines like Southwest & American list dimensions that will fit the Silhouette 22"" fine). However, I crossed my fingers & bought this spinner anyway because Samsonite carry on looked spacious, had wheels that were rugged & giant, & was light in weight.

To my pleasant surprise, the Silhouette 22"" fits fine in United overhead bins, although Samsonite carry on was the most limiting of all the domestic airline carry-on dimensions I researched. Samsonite carry on spinner will fit with wheels going in first, not sideways. I have seen lots of other people shove their roller bags next to mine that looked slightly longer than mine & were still able to fit it.

As for International flights, the Silhouette 22"" will seldom fit, because international airplanes have smaller overhead bins that will fit up to 20"" bags.
